Our free trial lasts for 30 days. During this time you can run up to 50 free identity verifications and explore the experience through the eyes of both the business and the customer. In case you upgrade to a paid plan prior to the end of the trial, any free verifications you have left from the 50 will be transferred to your subscription.
The free trial is available via a sandbox mode. It includes access to the verification dashboard product, integration guidelines as well as technical documentation and support. In order to activate webhooks or watchlist checks, you need to upgrade to a paid plan.
As soon as you feel comfortable and ready to go live with Passbase, you can smoothly upgrade your plan in the activation flow. Subscription plans are on a monthly basis and can be easily managed from your settings. Head over to the Support Center to find out more.
The sandbox mode cannot be used in live production so to gain access to the API and activate webhooks, you need to subscribe to a plan of your choice. Furthermore, we offer optional additional features such as watchlist & PEP checks and additional document upload. The exact pricing depends on which plan you are subscribed to. Everything else, including unlimited re-authentications and 24/7 support are included in the subscription fee.
Business requirements and circumstances change all the time. That's why our billing is designed to work on a monthly basis to give you maximum flexibility in managing your expenses. Renewals take place at the end of each period and you'll be able to see and export all of your invoices from your dashboard.
Our default payment method is via card. We rely on Stripe to provide you the most secure and intutive payment options. Because of that we support debit and credit card options. From your dashboard you will also be able to pay via a bank transfer or using other global payment methods.
Our pricing plans work as a combination of a verification fee and a monthly subscription fee. The first time an individual’s document is being verified, you are charged a variable per verification fee, which depends on the plan and feature set of your choice. An additional subscription fee is charged monthly to cover the cost of technical support and re-authentications. As you can see from our plans, the higher your volume, the more dependent the pricing is on the fixed cost.
In the verification process, we ask the user for their email address and biometrics and store their document information against it. In addition, we analyze the verification’s location data to calculate our risk score. For any data that we capture through the process, specific consent is acquired from the end user.
