Passbase welcomes Sidney François as VP of Product

B2B technology veteran CPO to lead the company's product vision


We’re pleased to announce that Sidney François has joined the Passbase team as the new Vice President of Product. In this role François will be responsible for managing and ensuring the continued quality of Passbase’s expanding product suite and scaling the product team.

François will lead Passbase’s product team to deliver robust and scalable services in identity verification to set the industry standard for a cohesive end-to-end experience. Along with the engineering team, François will be based in the company’s European headquarters in Berlin while having team members on different continents joining remotely.

François brings years of expertise managing product strategy and operations for B2B technology companies serving global brands to his new role at Passbase. Most recently, François served as VP of Product at B2B Food Group, one of the world’s leading platforms in the business food sector with over 3000 partners, where he was responsible for global product development and strategy. Prior to his role at B2B Food Group, François held CPO roles at LEMONCAT (acquired by Rocket Internet) and Veyo Care, where he has managed complex vertical market-networks and led teams in various markets as resources were distributed around Europe and Australia.

Passbase has brought François into the team after numerous company milestones. Since March, Passbase has increased its customer base by over tenfold to serve companies undergoing digital transformation due to Covid-19 social distancing measures and released a series of features to meet industry needs. In June, the company unveiled the first ever no code identity verification solution with liveness detection readiness, a new Passbase Dashboard that offers unprecedented customization for verification flows and an integration overview, color branding and country inclusion/exclusion capability.
